As you maybe know, i bough Samsung N150 netbook few weeks ago. Of course it was bought for deejaying with Virtual DJ software. Netbook is smaller and life of battery much better than in my laptop – 8 hours versus 1,5. But unfortunately, i can’t find skin for VDJ with netbook resolution (1024×600). So what should i do? Right! I’m opened my favourite HTML editor and GIMP and here it is – my own skin for netbook resolution!
- This skin is based on original Virtual DJ 6 skin so you may find it familiar;
- Turntables was fully removed cuz they takes very much space;
- Video and Scratch panels was successfully optimized too;
- Artist and title font was changed to “Arial Unicode MS” for correct Japanese names, so you should install this font (you can find it in MS Office distributive);
To install this skin just add
“VDJ6.zip”
to
“C:\Documents and Settings\%USERNAME%\My Documents\VirtualDJ\Skins\”
and choose this skin in Virtual DJ settings. This is my first trying of VDJ skin creation, so if you find any glitches – please write about it in this topic and i’ll try to fix them!
